Common questions

My Lock Screen timer didn't start.

Start a session from inside the app, with the app open. iOS only allows a Lock Screen timer to start from the foreground. Also check that Live Activities are turned on in iOS Settings for Floater.

I didn't get the end-of-session notification.

Notifications are optional. Check that they are allowed for Floater in iOS Settings > Notifications. Floater sends one notification per session.

Does leaving the app or locking my phone count as giving up?

No. Locking your phone or switching apps never counts as giving up, and it never punishes you.

Can I delete my session history?

Deleting the app removes all of its data from your iPhone. Session history is stored only on your device.

On your iPhone only. Floater has no account and no servers. See the privacy policy for details.
